Rugby, cricket & Gaelic
A phone knows roughly where it is, and the law of betting changes at a border that football fans seldom think about. This section reads these sports with that border in mind.
On most apps the list runs from rugby (both codes) through cricket to hurling, netball and Gaelic football. Rugby lines tend to be winning margins and handicaps; cricket lines are match and innings prices.
England, Scotland and Wales are covered by the Gambling Act 2005 and by a Gambling Commission licence. Northern Ireland lies outside the Act, which leaves a Great Britain licence with nothing to say about bets placed there and gives the point special weight for Gaelic games.
